Only four teams remain in the hunt for the English title as we get ready for two cracking semi-finals this weekend, with Northampton Saints hosting Saracens and Bath taking on Leicester Tigers. Home advantage plays a massive role when we get down to the play-offs so Saints and Bath will be full of confidence, especially given that Mike Ford’s side managed to hammer Leicester 45-0 earlier this season on their home turf. That said, it would be foolish to expect the Tigers to capitulate in that manner again, but with the newly crowned Player of the Season in their ranks in George Ford, Bath will be desperate to make it back to the Premiership final after a lengthy absence. The other clash meanwhile is a re-match from last year’s dramatic extra-time triumph for Northampton – how Saracens would love to be able to get their revenge, but it won’t be an easy challenge at one of the toughest grounds to visit in the English league. Both games will be intense classics.
Winner: Saracens and Bath
