Argentina were well-beaten in New Zealand, but should be a far tougher proposition on home soil against the Wallabies. They won the last meeting between the two sides, and given Australia’s troubles at scrum-time against South Africa, there is at least one area where the Pumas should dominate.
Having said that, Australia look to have picked a more in-form side, with Nick Phipps and Bernard Foley combining to form an experienced half-back pairing, while David Pocock’s return should have a big impact in the back row.
Betting: Argentina v Australia
Why not look for another tight Australian win, with Argentina perhaps covering the handicap. In terms of try-scorers, Joe Tomane showed his nose for the try-line during the Super Rugby season, and is one of the best finishers in the Wallaby side.
Predicted Winner: Australia
